I recently completed my third real estate transaction with Skoglin Real Estate and, once again, I have been very pleased with their service. They have represented me on both sides of real estate deals – as both a buyer and a seller. They are experts in the Master Community of Stonecrest in San Diego. They know the properties and their values better than anyone else in the industry and I trust them completely when it comes to how to market a home, what to offer and/or what price to set, and how to respond to offers and counter offers. Tim set a range for my last sale that was higher than I had hoped for and I was able to sell at the top of that range, which was the highest sales price ever for my neighborhood.

They represented me for two home sales. In both cases, their advice on how to “stage” my home (always using my own furniture and fixtures) helped me to showcase each home in its best light resulting in offers at the first Open House for each. They also kept me from spending money I didn’t need to spend to get my houses ready. What stands out to me in the sales process is that through conversations with prospective buyers, Tim looks to identify which buyers would be right for the particular house he is selling. He doesn’t “hard sell” to get an offer; he looks to get the right offer to avoid a buyer who changes their mind halfway through the escrow process. He also works hard to pre-qualify buyers who make an offer to, again, try to ensure a successful escrow.

Tim and Kristine go the extra mile to help their clients in any way they can. For example, I was in escrow and needed to get my house tented for termites ASAP. I was going to be out of town on business so they contacted my pest control company for me and arranged for the tenting to take place while I was gone. This was a huge help to me and was very much appreciated.

They are extremely professional in all their interactions and pretty unflappable when issues arise during the process. They are both wonderful to work with. I received numerous offers on my last sale and, based on my observations of the agents representing the various buyers, they were always more experienced and knowledgeable than the other party.

Tim and Kristine work very hard for their clients and they have certainly earned their commissions in all my transactions. I can’t recommend them highly enough for both buyers and sellers.
